Postman is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to manage a territory of around 100 accounts and drive sales growth. You'll work closely with Sales Development representatives and leverage your experience in Technical SaaS sales. This role requires a strong background in sales strategy and account management.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within Technical SaaS companies, and understand the nuances of managing corporate accounts. With a strategic mindset, you excel at building relationships and driving growth through effective account management. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with diverse stakeholders.
You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure. Your ability to analyze customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly sets you apart. You are passionate about technology and understand how to communicate the value of API platforms to potential clients.
Experience with Postman or similar API platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems. You are comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales Development and Customer Success, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
In this role, you will take ownership of a territory consisting of approximately 100 accounts, focusing on existing Postman users. Your primary goal will be to build strategies that enhance account engagement and drive the adoption of Postman's Enterprise Suite. You will work closely with Sales Development representatives to understand how clients are utilizing Postman and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
You will develop a strategic plan for each account, ensuring that you are meeting their needs and helping them maximize the value of Postman's offerings. This involves regular check-ins, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. You will also be responsible for tracking your sales activities and reporting on progress against targets.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with various teams within Postman to ensure that customer feedback is communicated effectively and that the sales process is streamlined. You will participate in sales meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues.
