Esri is seeking a Consultant in Natural Resources to empower organizations through location intelligence. You'll work across various industries, providing strategic solutions for environmental management and land-use planning. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients.
You have a strong background in consulting, particularly in natural resources or environmental management, and you understand how to leverage location intelligence to drive meaningful decisions. Your experience includes working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private consultancies, allowing you to navigate complex project requirements effectively. You are a problem solver who enjoys collaborating with teams to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. Your communication skills enable you to build trust and establish strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience with ArcGIS or similar geographic information systems is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to provide tailored solutions. Familiarity with project management methodologies will help you lead projects efficiently, ensuring that scope, cost, and schedule are managed effectively. A background in environmental engineering or land-use planning will further strengthen your candidacy, as these areas are critical to the role.
In this role, you will help clients translate their real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art solutions that leverage location intelligence. Your responsibilities will include managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all phases—requirements gathering, analysis, design, build, and implementation—are executed smoothly. You will lead the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through careful planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk management. Additionally, you will establish, develop, and expand relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitator throughout the project lifecycle.
