Carvana is seeking an Upholstery & Trim / Glass Repair Specialist to join their team in Chandler, AZ. You'll be responsible for automotive interior and glass repairs, requiring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive interior repair and/or glass repair, showcasing your expertise in handling various materials such as cloth, leather, plastic, and vinyl. Your skills include repairing damaged upholstery, center consoles, seats, dashboards, and headliners, ensuring that every vehicle meets high standards of quality and aesthetics. You are adept at color matching and dying cloth and fabric, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Additionally, you possess the ability to repair glass, including stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields, ensuring safety and functionality for all vehicles.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair would be a plus, as would experience with advanced repair techniques or tools. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication, contributing positively to the work environment.
As a Mid-Level Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs on automotive interiors and glass. Your day-to-day tasks will involve assessing damage, determining the best repair methods, and executing repairs efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that you have everything you need to deliver exceptional results. You will also be expected to adhere to safety protocols and company policies, contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. In addition to your technical skills, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that vehicles are ready for delivery when expected. If necessary, you may be required to work overtime to meet customer demands, showcasing your commitment to the team's success.
