Acquia is seeking an Account Executive for their Mid-Market team to drive sales of their AI-powered SaaS CMS, Acquia Source. You'll engage with senior executives and leverage your skills in relationship management and competitive analysis. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of digital customer experiences.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, where you've successfully identified and closed new business opportunities. Your ability to engage with senior-level executives and develop positive relationships is key to your success. You stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to effectively communicate Acquia's value proposition. You are adept at turning client feedback into actionable strategies that drive business growth and address competitive risks. Your strong negotiation skills enable you to broker win-win solutions that satisfy both client needs and company goals.

Desirable

Experience in the digital experience or SaaS industry is a plus, as is familiarity with AI technologies. You are comfortable using various tools and platforms to enhance your sales processes and are always looking for ways to improve your approach. A background in marketing or IT operations can also be beneficial in understanding the needs of your prospects.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Acquia, you will be responsible for selling Acquia Source, our next-generation AI-powered SaaS CMS. You will identify new business opportunities within the Mid-Market segment and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Engaging with senior-level executives, you will develop relationships that allow you to understand their needs and position Acquia's solutions effectively. You will collaborate closely with various functional teams, including Pre-Sales Solution Engineering, to ensure that client requirements are met and that you can advocate for their needs during the sales process. Staying informed about competitor offerings will be crucial as you work to highlight Acquia's strengths and address any vulnerabilities in the market. Your role will also involve utilizing AI tools to streamline your sales efforts and enhance your productivity.
