You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to assess risk models and monitor risk exposure effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working closely with process owners to facilitate risk management activities. Your communication skills enable you to convey complex risk concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring that everyone is aligned on risk management objectives.

Desirable

Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with trading platforms, is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to risk management will enhance your candidacy. A relevant certification in risk management, such as FRM or PRM, would be beneficial but not mandatory.

What you'll do

In your role as a Risk Governance Senior Specialist, you will support the Director of Risk in implementing and managing risk management programs for the Bitstamp Financial Services Entity. You will collaborate with process owners to facilitate the appropriate management and control of all risks impacting the BFS entity. Your responsibilities will include managing monitoring activities to minimize exposure to financial and operational risks. You will analyze risk models to measure, monitor, and manage risk exposure across various derivatives products and trading strategies. Additionally, you will oversee the margin and collateral management process, ensuring that margin requirements are set appropriately and collateral adequacy is monitored continuously. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the risk management framework and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
