InterSystems is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to join their global infrastructure team. You'll be responsible for scaling, automating, and securing Kubernetes environments across various platforms. This role requires expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
You have a strong background in Kubernetes and have spent several years working with container orchestration environments. Your experience includes deploying, managing, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters using tools like kubeadm, EKS, AKS, GKE, or Rancher. You understand the importance of implementing robust RBAC, network policies, ingress controllers, and security frameworks in Kubernetes. You are skilled in automating cluster provisioning and application deployment pipelines using Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD, and you have built reusable modules for consistent infrastructure delivery across staging and production environments.
You are familiar with CI/CD integration and have experience integrating Kubernetes with modern CI/CD workflows for rapid and safe application delivery. Your knowledge of GitOps practices and continuous deployment automation allows you to support teams effectively. You have implemented observability for Kubernetes using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Fluentd/Fluent Bit, and you are adept at troubleshooting performance issues, failed pods, memory leaks, and cluster degradation events.
You have experience operating Kubernetes workloads across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid/on-prem environments. You are knowledgeable about backup and restore strategies in Kubernetes using tools like Velero, Kasten, or Stash. You enjoy collaborating with application developers, SREs, and security teams to implement best practices and serve as a technical advisor on Kubernetes-related matters.
Experience with additional cloud platforms or container orchestration tools would be a plus. Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments is also desirable.
As a Kubernetes Engineer at InterSystems, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our Kubernetes environments.
