Sojern is seeking a Sales Director to drive B2B sales within the media agency landscape. You'll focus on establishing Sojern as the preferred travel data provider for agencies. This role requires strong industry relationships and a proven track record in data-driven advertising sales.
You have a strong background in sales, particularly within the media agency landscape, with a proven track record of success in driving business-to-business sales. Your experience includes developing and managing relationships with major holding company agencies, and you possess a deep understanding of the agency landscape. You are skilled in promoting and selling data-driven advertising solutions, particularly in the travel sector. You excel at cultivating relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of your offerings. You are strategic in your approach, able to develop and execute plans that position your solutions as the premier choice for agencies. You are results-oriented, with a focus on securing new agency-level agreements and expanding existing relationships.
Experience in travel advertising or data-driven marketing is a plus, as is familiarity with the specific needs and challenges faced by media agencies. You are comfortable collaborating with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery of services. Your ability to articulate the value proposition of your offerings will set you apart as a subject matter expert in the field.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to position Sojern's Travel Audiences as the leading solution for agencies looking to engage travel audiences. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within major holding company agencies, ensuring that you are the go-to contact for their advertising needs. Your focus will be on securing new agency-level agreements and managing existing relationships to identify opportunities for growth. You will serve as a subject matter expert, articulating the benefits of Sojern's Travel Audiences to agency clients and ensuring they understand the value of your offerings. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with internal teams to optimize the delivery of services to agency partners. You will maintain accurate records of agency interactions and track the progress of your initiatives, ensuring that you meet your sales targets and contribute to the overall success of Sojern.
