You have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in MLOps, where you've designed and implemented scalable ML infrastructure. Your expertise in CI/CD practices has allowed you to optimize the deployment and management of machine learning models effectively. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. You understand the intricacies of machine learning lifecycle management and are passionate about improving developer experiences through robust governance capabilities.

You thrive in collaborative environments and have worked closely with cross-functional teams, including Machine Learning Engineers, QA Engineers, and DevOps Engineers. Your ability to evaluate and implement new technologies has contributed to the continuous improvement of software development processes. You are detail-oriented and have a strong focus on optimizing costs while maximizing inference performance in ML applications.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is a plus, as it enhances your ability to architect enterprise-scale solutions. Familiarity with advanced compilers or hardware optimization techniques will further strengthen your contributions to the team. What you'll do

In your role as a Senior MLOps Engineer at Jumio, you will be responsible for developing the blueprint for highly scalable and performant ML model serving. You will drive the continuous improvement of infrastructure and applications to manage the lifecycle of ML assets, ensuring a better developer experience and robust governance capabilities. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing model serving infrastructure with a focus on inference latency and cost optimization.

You will architect efficient inference pipelines that balance latency, throughput, and cost across various acceleration options. Collaborating with a distributed team, you will contribute to continuous system improvement and evaluate new technologies and tools that can enhance the ML lifecycle management processes. Your role will also involve making architectural decisions that align with client demands across various industries, including Financial Services, Travel, and Fintech.
