Uber is hiring a Payments Support Representative to provide exceptional customer support for riders and driver partners. You'll resolve payment concerns and ensure compliance with local policies. This role requires proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
You are detail-oriented and have a strong ability to review cases to ensure solutions align with local policies and regulations. You show empathy to frustrated users while solving payment concerns and addressing unsatisfactory experiences. You are willing to work in shifts, including weekends, and have a proven ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to detail. You are naturally curious, open to incorporating feedback, and dedicated to improving your craft. As an excellent teammate, you collaborate internally or across functional and regional areas to get the job done effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer support that establishes trust for riders and driver partners. You will help people resolve their issues and turn unhappy users into loyal advocates. You will work closely with native speakers and subject matter experts who provide local knowledge and context. You will advocate for users while finding compliant, effective solutions that balance customer experience with Uber’s policies. Additionally, you will triage issues and escalate them when necessary, ensuring that problems are resolved promptly while developing trustworthy relationships with our community.
