Project managementPrototypingVerificationValidation

Overview

Inspiren is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the end-to-end hardware product development for new devices in their ecosystem. You'll manage multiple hardware projects and ensure high standards of quality and reliability. This role requires extensive experience in hardware engineering and project management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering with a focus on product development — your experience includes leading projects from concept through mass production, ensuring that all requirements are met. You are skilled in project management, adept at balancing multiple hardware products simultaneously while adhering to cost, schedule, and performance requirements.

Your expertise in prototyping and verification processes is complemented by a solid understanding of validation and regulatory attainment — you know how to integrate subject-matter experts and manage partnerships effectively to deliver high-quality devices. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and manufacturability throughout the lifecycle of products.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams — your communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve care outcomes in senior living.

Desirable

Experience with regulatory compliance in medical devices is a plus — you understand the nuances of navigating the regulatory landscape to ensure product safety and efficacy. Familiarity with analytics and data-driven decision-making will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the hardware product development process — from defining requirements to overseeing the entire project lifecycle. You will lead the engineering team in establishing system architecture and ensuring that all prototypes meet the necessary specifications. Your role will involve managing relationships with JDM partners and integrating feedback from subject-matter experts to refine product designs.

You will participate in project management activities, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to while maintaining high performance standards. Your ability to drive projects forward will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of hardware development in a fast-paced environment.

You will also be responsible for leading verification efforts, ensuring that all products undergo rigorous testing to meet quality standards before mass production. Your insights will help shape the future of Inspiren’s ecosystem, contributing to the development of innovative devices that enhance the lives of residents and staff alike.

What we offer

Inspiren values the contributions of its team members and offers a comprehensive compensation package that reflects industry standards. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development. The company is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, where your ideas can make a real impact.

Join us in our mission to transform senior living through technology — your work will directly contribute to improving care outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for residents. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
