What you'll do

As the Head of Financial Crime, you will lead the first line financial crime function, ensuring that Zopa's products are safe and compliant. You will work closely with product squads to shape the development of new financial products, interpreting risk appetite in context and designing proportional controls that support rapid delivery. Your role will involve acting as the senior escalation point for financial crime issues, providing guidance and support to teams across the organization. You will contribute to the overall strategic direction of financial crime initiatives, ensuring that Zopa remains at the forefront of industry standards and practices.

You will also be responsible for building the next generation of financial crime capabilities, leveraging data and technology to enhance Zopa's approach to risk management. This includes developing frameworks for identifying and mitigating financial crime risks, as well as implementing robust monitoring and reporting systems. Your leadership will be key in fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the organization.
