What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Waymo, you will be responsible for driving the execution of projects within the mapping team. You will collaborate closely with onboard engineering teams, simulation and evaluations teams, as well as product and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your role will involve managing project schedules, identifying risks and dependencies, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and informed.

You will lead cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and brainstorm solutions. Your proactive approach will help you anticipate potential roadblocks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also be responsible for tracking project milestones and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

In addition to project management, you will play a key role in shaping the roadmap for the mapping team. You will work with various teams to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and technical feasibility. Your insights will help guide the direction of the projects and ensure that they align with Waymo's overall mission of improving mobility through autonomous driving technology.
