Carvana is hiring a Transport Driver to operate motor vehicles for transport, pickup, and delivery in support of auction activities. You'll ensure the safe movement and staging of vehicles at the auction site. This role requires a valid driver's license and basic computer skills.
You are at least eighteen years of age and possess a valid driver’s license, allowing you to operate motor vehicles safely. You have basic computer skills and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You understand the importance of following driving rules and demonstrating courteous driving principles. You are detail-oriented, capable of performing vehicle inspections, and can identify any damage before moving vehicles. You are a team player, ready to assist customers, dealers, and co-workers as needed.
As a Transport Driver at Carvana, you will operate motor vehicles on and off the premises to support auction activities. Your primary responsibilities will include safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles in designated areas to facilitate the flow of vehicles for the car auction. You will drive vehicles to and from designated areas, ensuring compliance with auction driving rules and the rules of the road. On sale days, you will drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes, verifying the VIN of cars being picked up or delivered against transportation requests. You will also line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager or designated supervisor. If necessary, you will perform basic maintenance tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles. You will fill gas tanks when vehicles are low on fuel and assist customers as needed.
Carvana provides a competitive hourly rate ranging from $15 to $18, depending on experience. You will have a flexible schedule, working approximately 20 hours a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
