Affirm is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance the Checkout Experience for international users. You'll work with JavaScript and React to maintain UIs and APIs that deliver delightful user experiences. This role requires strong collaboration skills and experience in frontend development.
You have 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a strong focus on building user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing. Your expertise in JavaScript and React allows you to create seamless user experiences, and you understand the importance of performance and accessibility in web applications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product management, design, and analytics teams to bring ideas to life. You are proactive in identifying challenges and advocating for solutions that enhance the user experience. You have experience leading projects and guiding less experienced engineers through complex problems, ensuring that everyone on your team feels supported and empowered.
Experience with API integration and a solid understanding of backend technologies will be beneficial. Familiarity with metrics and analytics tools to monitor user engagement and performance is a plus. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can articulate technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
