Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, showcasing your expertise in handling various automotive issues. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, allowing you to tackle complex automotive challenges with confidence. You are skilled in advanced vehicle diagnostics, ensuring that you can identify and resolve issues efficiently. Your experience also includes repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, which is crucial for modern vehicles that rely heavily on electronic systems. You are familiar with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, demonstrating your comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems. Additionally, you have experience performing diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, which is increasingly important in today's automotive landscape.

Desirable

While not required, any certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as they demonstrate your commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards. Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Heavy Line Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. You will utilize your skills to conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics, ensuring that you can accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will involve repairing heavy engine components, which requires a deep understanding of automotive mechanics and systems.
