What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be responsible for simplifying and optimizing Snowflake's infrastructure to support the development teams. You will work on building services that enhance the reliability of Snowflake's offerings, ensuring that they operate seamlessly across multiple cloud environments. Your role will involve managing complex infrastructure changes and maintaining high service level objectives (SLOs).

You will define and implement the operating system and containerization layers for all of Snowflake's services, ensuring that they are robust and scalable. Collaborating with other engineering teams, you will help to create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving initiatives that enhance the performance and availability of the Data Cloud Platform.

Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Snowflake's infrastructure, enabling the company to handle billions of queries and data workloads daily.
