Guidepoint is seeking a Business Development Associate to expand relationships with major Institutional clients in Australia. You'll conduct outbound prospecting and assist in building a pipeline of prospects. This role is ideal for someone looking to learn about the institutional investment industry.
You are a motivated individual eager to learn about the institutional investment industry and contribute to business development efforts. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable conducting outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads. Your ability to partner with senior sales team members will help you schedule meetings with new prospects and manage client feedback effectively. You are driven by targets and enjoy the challenge of meeting designated prospecting and meeting goals through various lead generation efforts.
Experience in sales or business development is a plus, but not required. A background in finance or familiarity with the institutional investment landscape will help you understand client needs better. You are adaptable and willing to learn about primary research methods and the competitive landscape to enhance your contributions.
In this role, you will assist in building a pipeline of prospects across various Institutional clients in Australia. You will conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and help source new business opportunities. Partnering with senior sales team members, you will schedule meetings with new prospects and set up meetings with existing strategic accounts to identify growth and cross-selling opportunities. You will also manage client feedback calls to ensure their needs are met and develop a working knowledge of the institutional investment industry.
Your responsibilities will include researching client needs and understanding their procurement processes. You will learn about the primary research methods and investment strategies that are crucial for the institutional investment industry. Your contributions will help Guidepoint enhance its service offerings and build stronger relationships with clients.
