Experience in the public sector or with government clients is a plus, as it allows you to better understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. Familiarity with sales development processes and tools will help you streamline operations and enhance team performance. You are comfortable using data to drive decisions and improve team outcomes, and you have a knack for identifying and nurturing talent within your team.
As the SDR Manager at OpenGov, you will lead a team of 8-10 Sales Development Representatives, guiding them in their efforts to drive new business acquisition and customer upsells. You will be responsible for setting clear performance expectations and providing the necessary resources and support to help your team achieve their goals. Your role will involve regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and the development of training programs to enhance the skills of your team members.
You will collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment on strategies and messaging. Your insights will help shape the sales approach, and you will play a key role in developing the pipeline of future Account Executives and Customer Success Managers. You will also be involved in strategic planning sessions, contributing your expertise to help drive the overall success of the sales organization.
