What you'll do

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the Agentic Engineering team in Bengaluru, focusing on the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions for cloud contact centers. You will be responsible for setting the technical vision and strategy for the team, ensuring alignment with Five9's overall mission to enhance customer experiences.

You will oversee the design and implementation of innovative AI applications, guiding your team through the development lifecycle from concept to deployment. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to ensure that solutions meet customer needs and business objectives.

You will foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of best practices in software development and AI implementation. Regularly reviewing team performance and providing constructive feedback will be essential to your leadership approach.

You will represent the engineering team in cross-functional meetings, articulating technical challenges and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to advocate for your team's needs and successes will be crucial in driving the team's impact within the organization.
