You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, which enable you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Your understanding of the logistics space allows you to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive them to completion. You are comfortable pulling data from multiple databases and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis using tools like SQL, Excel, and Access. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at making data-backed decisions that enhance customer experience.
As a Team Lead in Operations at Amazon, you will be responsible for managing a shift and overseeing a team to ensure smooth operations. You will facilitate the flow of information across multiple stakeholders to resolve any potential issues that may impact customer experience or business continuity. Your role will involve developing and referring to performance metrics to drive team performance and business results. You will identify trends and their business impact, making informed decisions based on data analysis. Additionally, you will communicate with both external customers, such as carriers and vendors, and internal teams, including finance and fulfillment centers, to ensure alignment and address any variances in information. You will escalate problems to the relevant owners and follow through on resolutions to maintain operational efficiency.
