Job Description

Want to play a critical role in delivering Amazon’s largest events? We’re hiring a software development engineer to lead WW Promotions re-architecture. We own services that executes all promotions in Amazon retail website, including but not limited to promotion validations, vending, materialization. We are a cornerstone of Amazon shopping experience, enabling the Customer experience for all promotion types.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will be actively working on simplifying and accelerating our architecture work relating to Deal, Promotion and merchandising workflows. You’ll bring your unique perspective and background to drive innovation in one of the most high-profile customer experiences on Amazon and during our most visible events. You’ll be part of a people-centric organization. Those around you will help you grow, and you’ll be expected to do the same for others. We’re always taking on new challenges, and you’ll have to opportunity to push your boundaries to solve unique problems with your peers. About the team

You will get to work with Software development managers, PEs, product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and leaders across organizations, to innovate, measure, analyze and refine the experiences we deliver to millions of customers across the planet. We offer flexibility and encourage you to find your own balance.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
