Samsara is hiring an Account Executive to drive the adoption of IoT solutions among small to medium-sized customers. You'll engage in sales processes involving proof of concepts and negotiations. This role requires strong communication and sales skills.
You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or IoT solutions. You thrive in high-energy environments and are passionate about helping businesses improve their operations through innovative technology. Your ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and navigate complex sales processes is key to your success. You are motivated by the opportunity to impact industries that are crucial to the global economy, and you understand the importance of building relationships with customers. You are comfortable with sales cycles that involve proof of concepts and negotiations, and you have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for bringing Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our technology can improve their operations. Your typical sales will range from $5k to $20k, and you will work closely with various stakeholders, including owners and operational managers, to facilitate the sales process. You will conduct presentations and demonstrations, manage negotiations, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of Samsara's business and the digital transformation of industries that rely on physical operations.
