Tanium is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help large organizations achieve visibility and control over complex environments. You'll work closely with sales and customer success teams to deliver technical solutions and demonstrations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
You have a knack for understanding customer needs and translating technical solutions to diverse audiences. Your experience in pre-sales environments has equipped you with the skills to engage in deep technical discussions and present solutions effectively. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with sales and customer success teams to drive technology evaluations and demonstrations. You are comfortable leading discovery meetings and analyzing customer requirements to tailor solutions that meet their operational and business needs. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, from C-level executives to technical users, sets you apart. You are based in one of the specified states and are ready to contribute to a team that is changing the world.
Experience in a technical sales role or a background in engineering can be beneficial. Familiarity with enterprise operations and security platforms will enhance your ability to engage with customers effectively.
As a Solutions Engineer at Tanium, you will work directly with our sales team from initial discovery to deal closure, aiming to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates. You will oversee and participate in initial discovery meetings with customers, providing platform demonstrations and conducting highly technical Proof of Value engagements for both existing customers and new sales opportunities. Your role will involve translating customer business challenges into technical solutions, ensuring that the proposed Tanium solutions align with their needs. You will lead deep-dive technical discussions with customers, positioning Tanium’s transformative enterprise operations and security platform to relevant stakeholders. Your contributions will be crucial in helping customers achieve unprecedented visibility and control over their complex environments.
