Graphcore is hiring a Senior Kubernetes Software Engineer to develop Go services that integrate their accelerator hardware into Kubernetes clusters. You'll work in a hands-on role focused on high-performance AI compute. This position requires expertise in Go and Kubernetes.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing production-grade services. Your background includes a strong focus on Kubernetes and cloud platforms, and you are comfortable working at the intersection of software and hardware. You possess deep knowledge of Go programming and have experience building Kubernetes components such as CRDs and operators.
You thrive in a technical environment and enjoy tackling complex challenges. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that software solutions meet the needs of both users and the infrastructure. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering reliable and scalable software solutions.
Experience with AI compute infrastructure is a plus, as is familiarity with semiconductor technologies. You may have worked in fast-paced environments where innovation is key, and you understand the importance of performance and reliability in software development.
As a Senior Kubernetes Software Engineer at Graphcore, you will develop Go services that expose the capabilities of our accelerator hardware to end users. Your role will involve building Kubernetes components that provide a seamless experience for machine learning and platform teams. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our Kubernetes-based AI compute infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with our accelerator technology. This hands-on role requires you to take ownership of software components, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in a production environment. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our systems.
In addition to development, you will engage in troubleshooting and optimizing existing services, ensuring they perform efficiently under load. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our AI compute solutions, making it easier for teams to leverage our technology effectively.
