What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining foundational software that supports Amazon Leo's mission to deliver reliable internet connectivity. You will develop new software services for mission-critical applications, ensuring they are capable of coordinating with external systems and organizations rapidly and reliably. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the capabilities of U.S. Government customers, including NASA and the Department of Defense.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, real-time solutions that meet the unique needs of government clients. This includes engaging in discussions with hardware and security teams to ensure that the software integrates seamlessly with existing systems. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the software, ensuring it adheres to best practices in security and performance.

Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest advancements in satellite communications and software development, allowing you to bring innovative ideas to the table. You will be expected to document your work thoroughly, providing clear guidelines and instructions for future development and maintenance.
