Job Description

Trustworthy Shopping Experience team focuses on improving seller experiences and ensuring a safe, trusted marketplace for our customers. We work on various aspects of e-commerce, product safety, quality and compliance, catalog management and order remediation. We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in building a cutting-edge global compliance product. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping customers, skilled at bringing clarity to ambiguous situations through data-driven experimentation. You will work with an international team of product managers and stakeholders, tackling complex software architecture design challenges and building highly scalable services.

Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch innovative products and services.
• Create scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for storage, indexing, and querying.
• Implement predictive solutions on distributed systems using state-of-the-art technologies.
• Design and code effective solutions for broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.


About the team
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
