Google is seeking an AI Sales Specialist to drive sales of transformational AI solutions within the public sector. You'll leverage your expertise in enterprise software and cloud technologies to identify customer challenges and develop strategic account plans. This role requires 10 years of sales experience, particularly in the AI and SaaS domains.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 10 years of experience in a sales role focused on enterprise software, cloud, or the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space. Your background includes 4 years of experience selling SaaS solutions in an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) business model, showcasing your ability to drive revenue growth. You have a proven track record in identifying AI use cases that address customer challenges and selling transformational AI solutions to clients. Your experience in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) space has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles effectively.
You excel in prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based business activities within business cycles. You have a knack for qualifying high-value accounts and leveraging partner ecosystems to maximize sales opportunities. Your ability to support long-term executive relationships and develop new territories/accounts ensures customer success, adoption, and expansion. You are knowledgeable about market trends, products, and solutions, particularly in the Cloud and Artificial Intelligence sectors.
Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus, as it complements your understanding of the technology landscape. You are adept at utilizing, contributing to, or leading the creation of compelling, repeatable AI/Analytics business plays, including materials on participant differentiation, pricing, and Return On Investment (ROI). You have consistently carried and exceeded business goals in your previous roles, demonstrating your commitment to achieving results.
In this role, you will develop and execute account plans informed by Google's responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) framework across an assigned territory or market. You will engage with multiple customers and opportunities, gaining a deep understanding of each customer’s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, and business drivers. Your goal is to help customers transform their businesses using Google technologies, ensuring they realize the full potential of AI solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Your expertise in the AI space will allow you to identify and articulate the value of Google’s offerings, positioning them effectively against competitors. You will also be responsible for tracking sales metrics and reporting on progress against goals, ensuring transparency and accountability in your sales efforts.
Your role will involve regular interactions with executive stakeholders, where you will present strategic insights and recommendations to drive adoption and expansion of Google’s AI solutions. You will also participate in industry events and conferences to promote Google’s AI capabilities and network with potential clients.
