Amazon is hiring a Live Ops Support Engineer for the Prime Video Live Playback Operations team. You'll be responsible for the operation and monitoring of live events, ensuring seamless video delivery. This role requires experience with AWS and collaboration with various partners.
You have a strong background in support engineering, particularly in live operations, with experience in monitoring and managing live events. Your technical skills include a solid understanding of AWS services, which you leverage to ensure the smooth delivery of video content. As a Live Ops Support Engineer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end monitoring of live events on Prime Video. This includes ensuring that the video signal for each event is received and routed through our encoding and packaging infrastructure. You will work on-site from our state-of-the-art operations centers, collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during live broadcasts. Your role will involve constant communication with partners to ensure that all technical aspects of the live events are functioning smoothly.
You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in live operations, contributing to the development of processes that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our live streaming services.
