Overview

Uber is hiring a Risk and Compliance Specialist I to join their Fraud Managed Services team. You'll conduct investigations and manual reviews to prevent fraudulent activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a keen analytical mindset and a strong attention to detail, which allows you to dig deep into complex situations. You are proficient in written and spoken English, enabling you to communicate effectively in a professional environment. While experience in fraud or compliance investigation is a plus, it is not a strict requirement for this entry-level position. You are ready to take on challenges and are motivated to contribute to the prevention of fraudulent activities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct manual case-by-case reviews of earners' accounts to identify illegitimate and high-risk activities, which will make up 90% of your workload. You will be responsible for handling high-impact issues related to brand safety, tailoring your approach to different scenarios as needed. Summarizing your findings into trends and recommendations will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the team is informed and can act on your insights. You will work cross-functionally within the Krakow office and collaborate with regional coordinators across EMEA, contributing to a cohesive team effort in fraud prevention.

What we offer

Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better, and you will be part of a team that drives this mission forward. The company values collaboration and cultural identity, with expectations for employees to be in-office for 100% of their time unless otherwise discussed with your recruiter. You will have the opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment that encourages bold ideas and real-world impact.
