Amazon is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager for the Home & Lifestyle business to drive business growth and enhance vendor and customer experiences. You'll be responsible for managing P&L, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in vendor management.
You have 5+ years of experience in vendor management or a related field, demonstrating a strong ability to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to dive deep into business performance metrics and industry trends to inform your decisions. You excel in managing key vendor relationships and have a proven track record of successful negotiations that lead to improved vendor terms and operational excellence.
You are a strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable insights, making high-impact decisions that align with business objectives. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Advertising, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive initiatives that span the entire business.
Experience in the Home & Lifestyle category is a plus, as is familiarity with e-commerce platforms and customer experience optimization. You are comfortable with complex negotiations and have a knack for identifying growth opportunities while finding creative ways to reduce costs. Your ability to prioritize and define meaningful ways to delight customers sets you apart.
In this role, you will own the P&L for a major category within the Home & Lifestyle business, driving topline growth and profitability. You will develop and execute strategic plans that expand product selection and improve vendor terms, all while enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include leading long-term Joint Business Planning and identifying growth opportunities that align with business goals.
You will collaborate with various teams to drive initiatives that improve both the shopping and selling experience on our platform. Your analytical skills will be critical as you assess business performance metrics and industry trends, ensuring that your strategies are data-driven and effective. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
