You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable and reliable systems. Your background includes a strong focus on security, especially in cloud environments, and you are adept at solving complex technical challenges. You are familiar with Azure and have experience working in agile settings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You understand the importance of maintaining service health and are comfortable with on-call rotations and incident response. Your technical skills include proficiency in C# and a solid understanding of distributed systems architecture. You are committed to continuous improvement and apply data-driven insights to enhance system reliability.
Experience with cloud-native security solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools. You have a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues, utilizing logs and telemetry effectively. Your ability to lead root cause analysis and postmortems demonstrates your commitment to preventing future incidents. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning.
In this role, you will design and deliver scalable, reliable software and infrastructure for Azure security services. You will maintain 24x7 service health through periodic on-call rotations and rapid incident response, ensuring that systems are resilient and available. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, leading root cause analysis, and implementing instrumentation and dashboards to monitor performance and availability. You will work closely with Azure Security engineering teams and product managers to develop innovative security solutions that meet the needs of sovereign cloud environments. Your contributions will directly impact the security posture of Microsoft’s cloud services, and you will play a key role in shaping the future of cloud security.
