Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop new relationships with restaurants and stores in Genova. You'll collaborate with premium restaurants and support partners in joining Deliveroo. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Who you are

You have experience in business development or sales, ideally within the food or technology sectors. You possess strong communication skills and can effectively engage with restaurant owners and managers. You are organized and can manage multiple prospects simultaneously, ensuring a structured approach to your outreach. You are passionate about the food industry and understand the dynamics of local markets, making you an area-level expert. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a small, impactful team. You are adaptable and open to new ideas, always looking for innovative ways to connect with potential partners.

What you'll do

In this role, you will map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurant partnerships across Genova. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local restaurants, ensuring they have the best experience when joining Deliveroo. You will communicate with restaurant owners through various channels, including physical visits, emails, calls, and social media, to demonstrate Deliveroo's technology and value proposition. You will also support partners in overcoming any challenges they face during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to our platform. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the regional sales team and reporting to the Sales Lead, contributing to the overall growth strategy of Deliveroo in the region.
