Astranis is seeking a Demand Planner to manage material planning for satellite manufacturing. You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure timely availability of components. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in demand planning.
As the founding Demand Planner at Astranis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the materials required for satellite manufacturing are available and well-planned. You have a strong background in demand planning and are adept at collaborating with multiple teams to understand production schedules and forecast material needs effectively. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to maintain material plans that align with production timelines. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with engineering and procurement teams to anticipate material requirements.
You understand the complexities of supply chain management and are skilled at analyzing data to make informed decisions. Your experience in a manufacturing or technical environment gives you the insight needed to navigate challenges and ensure that production runs smoothly. You are a proactive communicator, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Experience in the aerospace or satellite industry would be a significant advantage, as would familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes. In your role as Demand Planner, you will develop and maintain material plans that are closely aligned with production schedules. By maintaining clear communication with suppliers and internal teams, you will ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner and that any issues are addressed proactively. Your analytical skills will be essential in evaluating supplier performance and making recommendations for improvements.
