What you'll do

In your role as Demand Planner, you will develop and maintain material plans that are closely aligned with production schedules. This involves working closely with the Production and Procurement Departments to ensure that all necessary components are available when needed. You will analyze production forecasts and historical data to anticipate material needs, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes in production timelines. Your collaboration with engineering teams will help you understand upcoming projects and their material requirements, allowing you to plan effectively.

You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential shortages before they impact production. By maintaining clear communication with suppliers and internal teams, you will ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner and that any issues are addressed proactively. Your analytical skills will be essential in evaluating supplier performance and making recommendations for improvements.
