Carvana is seeking a Senior Autobody Tech to perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and roof repairs. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various repair techniques. As an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician, you are skilled in performing bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, and roof and rocker panel repairs. Your experience includes handling large area, heavy bodywork, such as Bondo repair, ensuring that you can tackle a variety of challenges in the field. You are familiar with using state-of-the-art tools and equipment, which allows you to deliver high-quality results consistently. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in the workplace, and you are committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication with your colleagues to achieve common goals.
While not required, additional certifications such as ASE would be beneficial. Experience with advanced automotive technologies and repair techniques can set you apart from other candidates. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English are essential for this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing bodywork on various automotive panels, ensuring that each repair meets Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. You will work on heavy plastic welding and minor metal pulling, addressing any issues that arise during the repair process. Your expertise will be crucial in executing roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as handling large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for delivery to customers in excellent condition. You will also participate in training programs to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques. Your contributions will help Carvana maintain its reputation as the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in the U.S.
