Who you are

You have at least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of automated conveyor systems, preferably in the food, beverage, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries. You possess a completed vocational training in mechanics, electrical engineering, or automation technology, or a comparable qualification, along with several years of professional experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively lead and motivate your team, fostering a positive team dynamic that encourages feedback and drives internal change. You work independently, structured, and diligently, demonstrating a passion for your work in automation technology.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with the latest technologies in automation and maintenance processes. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in continuous improvement will set you apart.

What you'll do

In your role as Schichtleitung Automatisierungstechnik, you will oversee maintenance activities and ensure optimal support during your shift. You will effectively engage your team members, motivating and coaching them to achieve their best performance. Collaborating with the maintenance leadership team, you will support the development of the maintenance roadmap and set standards for operational efficiency at our Barleben location near Magdeburg. You will monitor maintenance-related processes, including the upkeep of automation and manufacturing systems, ensuring compliance with maintenance regulations. Identifying issues and proposing improvement ideas will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as will managing service providers and facilitating both planned and unplanned repairs.
