Overview

Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for their Amazon Now team to oversee cluster-level operational performance and metrics tracking. You'll manage data accuracy and partner relationships while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires experience in performance metrics and process improvement.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years of experience at Amazon or 1+ years in performance metrics and process improvement. Your background includes expertise in data querying or modeling, particularly with SQL and Excel, which you use to maintain data integrity and operational dashboards. You are skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting, enabling you to identify and resolve operational defects effectively. Your experience in partner management within e-commerce or technology sectors equips you to manage third-party partners and drive standardization and improvement initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely data updates and metric accuracy.

Desirable

Experience with lean techniques and a strong understanding of operational performance metrics will set you apart. Familiarity with advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools will enhance your ability to present insights to leadership teams. A proactive approach to identifying trends and patterns in operational performance will contribute to your success in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support cluster-level operational indexing and performance tracking across city networks. You will monitor key operational metrics, including count compliance, fulfillment times, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance. Your responsibilities will include maintaining data integrity for operational dashboards and reporting systems used by leadership teams. You will coordinate with store operations teams to ensure timely data updates and metric accuracy, playing a crucial role in supporting root cause analysis for operational defects and SLA breaches. Additionally, you will assist in identifying trends and patterns in operational performance to support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that operational standards are met and exceeded.
