Block is seeking an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the final stages of the sales funnel and drive onboarding processes for US merchants. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships.
You have experience in project management, particularly in customer-facing roles, where you've successfully guided clients through onboarding processes. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. You are adept at anticipating challenges and developing strategies to overcome them, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for clients. You possess a deep understanding of product and industry knowledge, which allows you to effectively educate and train clients on the platform's capabilities. You are comfortable with a hybrid work model, balancing remote and onsite interactions with clients. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales, account management, and engineering teams to drive successful outcomes.
Experience in the financial technology sector or with onboarding processes in a similar industry would be a plus. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working closely with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process, ensuring that clients are optimally scoped, educated, and set up to leverage the platform effectively. You will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with teams across the organization, including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product, to align on the seller journey and remove barriers to success. Your role will involve anticipating and resolving obstacles by managing stakeholder communications and developing scalable strategies that drive consistent success. You will also be instrumental in documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps. Travel may be required as part of the job, approximately 10% of the time.
