Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. Your background includes 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and you have at least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. You possess strong back-end development skills, particularly in Java, and have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, having worked on complex systems that require efficient data handling.

You are a versatile engineer who is enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full-stack. Your experience includes developing accessible technologies, and you have demonstrated leadership qualities in your previous roles. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute fresh ideas to projects that impact billions of users.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field would be a plus. Experience in a technical leadership role is preferred, as is familiarity with large-scale system design, distributed computing, and information retrieval.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects within the Wearables and Health Data Governance team.
