Desirable

Experience in the hedge fund or financial services industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the operational challenges faced by multi-manager platforms. Familiarity with operational procedures and best practices will help you hit the ground running. You may also have experience with financial instruments such as equities, swaps, and bonds, which will enhance your ability to perform reconciliations and investigations effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform T+1 position, trade, and cash reconciliations between internal systems and prime brokers for a variety of financial instruments. You will review external fund administrators’ T+1 reconciliations and assist with investigations to resolve any discrepancies. Your ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial as you work to resolve breaks with teams such as Middle Office, Asset Servicing, Fund Accounting, and Prime Brokers.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Technology and Trade Support, to resolve operational issues and automate processes. Your contributions will help implement strategic initiatives and roll out best practices to standardize operational procedures across the organization. You will also work alongside senior team members and management on strategic initiatives, creating structure by defining operational procedures and recommending process improvements.
