Overview

SecurityScorecard is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for their SLED team to drive sales and manage client relationships. You'll work in a hybrid environment based in New York City. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in the cybersecurity sector.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the cybersecurity or technology sectors — your experience has equipped you with the skills to engage with enterprise clients effectively and understand their unique needs. You thrive in a competitive environment and are motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients is paramount, as you will be responsible for managing key accounts and ensuring their satisfaction with SecurityScorecard's offerings.

You are a self-starter who enjoys working independently while also being a team player — you understand the importance of collaboration and sharing best practices with your colleagues. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts in a way that resonates with clients. You are comfortable navigating the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, and you have a strategic mindset that helps you identify opportunities for growth within your accounts.

Desirable

Experience in the SLED (State, Local, Education) market is a plus, as it will enable you to connect with clients in these sectors more effectively. Familiarity with cybersecurity ratings and risk management solutions will give you an edge in understanding the value proposition of SecurityScorecard's services. A background in technology sales or account management will also be beneficial, as you will need to engage with technical stakeholders and understand their requirements.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at SecurityScorecard, you will be responsible for driving sales within the SLED market — your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. You will leverage your sales expertise to identify potential opportunities and develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of your clients. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers will be crucial to your success in this role.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that you have the necessary resources and support to effectively communicate the value of SecurityScorecard's offerings. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, participating in industry events, and engaging in strategic discussions with clients to understand their cybersecurity challenges and how SecurityScorecard can help address them.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system — this will help you track your progress and identify areas for improvement. Regularly reporting on your sales performance and providing feedback to the leadership team will be part of your responsibilities, as you contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
