Figure is seeking a Senior Digital Assets Compliance Officer to oversee compliance programs for cryptocurrency operations. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining compliance frameworks across various jurisdictions. This role requires extensive experience in cryptocurrency compliance.
You are an experienced compliance professional with a strong background in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. With over 5 years of experience in compliance roles, you have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in the crypto space. You possess excellent analytical skills and can navigate complex legal frameworks while ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are proactive in identifying compliance risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the organization remains compliant in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
Experience with compliance programs in multiple jurisdictions is a plus, as is familiarity with financial regulations related to digital assets. You have a track record of successfully managing compliance audits and assessments, demonstrating your ability to maintain high standards of compliance across various entities. Your knowledge of blockchain technology and its implications for compliance will set you apart in this role.
As the Digital Assets Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Figure Markets' compliance program for cryptocurrency operations. This includes overseeing compliance for registered money services businesses (MSBs), licensed broker-dealers, and investment advisors. You will work closely with legal and regulatory teams to ensure that all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing compliance policies, and providing training to staff on compliance matters. You will also be responsible for monitoring changes in regulations and adapting the compliance program accordingly. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that compliance considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
