Carvana is seeking an Auto Rim/Wheel Repair Technician to perform cosmetic wheel and rim repairs. You'll be responsible for painting, clear-coating, and using specialized repair machines. This role requires at least 1 year of professional experience in the automotive field.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in cosmetic wheel and rim repair, demonstrating your ability to handle various repair tasks effectively. Your background in autobody work equips you with the skills necessary to paint and clear-coat wheels, ensuring they meet high-quality standards. You are comfortable using specialized wheel repair machines and have a keen eye for detail, which is essential for repairing deep wheel damage. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in an automotive repair environment, and you are eager to learn and grow within the company. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
While not required, any additional certifications in automotive repair or experience with other autobody roles such as paint, prep/body work, or interior repair would be advantageous. Familiarity with high-tech tools and equipment used in modern automotive repair shops is a plus, as is a willingness to participate in training programs to enhance your skills further.
As an Auto Rim/Wheel Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing cosmetic repairs on wheels and rims, which includes painting and applying clear coats to ensure a flawless finish. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall quality of our vehicle offerings. Your role will involve assessing wheel damage and determining the best repair methods to restore them to their original condition. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that all repairs meet Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to help you advance your skills and career within the automotive industry.
