What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the top-level design and long-term planning of OKX's unified microservice governance system. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the R&D and implementation of adaptive governance algorithms that enhance the stability and efficiency of the service governance platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that the governance system meets the needs of various communication methods, including RPC and messaging.

You will conduct thorough research into mainstream RPC frameworks, focusing on their core mechanisms and how they can be optimized for better performance. Your insights will guide the development of adaptive rate limiting, circuit breaking, and load balancing strategies that are crucial for maintaining system health and responsiveness.

Collaboration with other teams will be essential as you integrate governance solutions into existing systems and processes. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, sharing your expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
