Who you are

You have 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend engineering, where you've designed and built systems that serve millions of users. Your expertise in Go allows you to create efficient and reliable back-end solutions that enhance user experiences. You are familiar with database management and have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance in your applications. Your knowledge of Redis enables you to implement caching strategies that improve system responsiveness and scalability. You have worked with Kubernetes, which helps you manage containerized applications effectively, ensuring smooth deployment and scaling of services. Additionally, your experience with Google Cloud equips you with the skills to leverage cloud services for building robust applications. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working across teams to define system evolution and uphold code quality. You are committed to advancing security and reliability in all your projects.

Experience with microservices architecture is a plus, as it allows you to design systems that are modular and easier to maintain. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, develop, and scale back-end systems that serve millions of users, ensuring they have the fastest email experience possible. You will power amazing user experiences by building new features and improving existing ones, constantly evaluating and refining solutions to deliver a highly performant and reliable back-end system. As you become an expert in back-end development, you will also expand your skills across the stack and various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define how our systems should evolve. You will support code quality initiatives, explore new technologies, and contribute to architectural design discussions within the company. Your role will also involve upholding and advancing the security and reliability of Superhuman’s systems, ensuring that our users can trust the platform.
