Program Manager, Compute Operational Excellence, Trust and Safety

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in scaled operations, Trust and Safety, program management, or business strategy. Your background includes a Master's degree in a technical field or an MBA, and you hold certifications in PMP or Six Sigma. You have a proven track record in operational transformation and driving the adoption of new processes, showcasing your ability to implement AI/ML or automation solutions within an operational environment.

Your problem-solving capabilities are excellent, allowing you to drive data-driven business decisions effectively. You are a big-picture thinker and a strategic team player, passionate about promoting trust and ensuring user safety across Google products. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with engineers and product managers to tackle abuse and fraud cases with urgency.

Desirable

Experience in developing technical and operational strategies and translating them into actionable program or project plans is a plus. You are adept at fostering relationships between cross-functional teams and managing communication of program status with executive stakeholders across various functions and time zones.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be tasked with identifying and addressing the biggest challenges that threaten the safety and integrity of Google products. You will work closely with the Trust and Safety team, utilizing your technical know-how and user insights to protect users and partners from abuse. Your leadership will enhance processes, accelerate program delivery, and maintain high-quality standards.

You will deploy structured operational systems that maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the Compute Operational Excellence team. Your expertise in program management will be crucial in ensuring that executives and stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and issues. You will lead initiatives that drive operational excellence and implement strategies that align with Google's mission to promote trust and safety.
