Senior Back-End Senior Software Engineer

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing diverse enterprise applications using an object-oriented language. Your proven knowledge of .NET Framework Programming and ASP.NET solutions allows you to create robust applications that meet user needs. You are familiar with MVC and Web API frameworks, and you understand the importance of RESTful API design in modern software development. You are adept at identifying technical debt within systems and proposing effective strategies to address them, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of the applications you work on.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders, including product owners and QA teams, to identify risks and achieve defined milestones. Your ability to produce testable, performant, and technically efficient code aligns with internal strategies, and you prioritize unit and integration testing to maintain high-quality standards. You can share technical specifications and solution designs in an understandable way, making complex concepts accessible to your team members.

You are proactive in assessing improvements and alternative solutions through research and investigation of new technologies, always looking for ways to enhance the development process and the final product. What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Appspace, you will take ownership of product features from technical design to delivery. You will collaborate closely with product owners and QA teams to identify possible risks and ensure that milestones are met. Your role will involve identifying and addressing technical debt within the system, proposing specific strategies to resolve issues, and supporting the team in adhering to the Definition of Done (DoD) for developments.

You will be responsible for producing testable, performant, and technically efficient code according to our internal strategy. This includes implementing unit and integration testing, as well as performance metrics to ensure the reliability of the applications you develop. You will share technical specifications and solution designs with your team, ensuring that everyone is aligned and understands the technical direction.

In addition, you will assess improvements and alternative solutions through research and investigation of new technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our development practices. Your expertise will help guide the team in adopting best practices and leveraging the latest advancements in technology to enhance our products.
