Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in the Point of Sale technology sector. You excel at building relationships with clients and understanding their needs, which allows you to effectively present solutions that drive their business success. Your ability to listen and identify sales opportunities is key to your success in this role. You are comfortable using CRM systems to manage your sales pipeline and track client interactions. Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the specific needs of those clients. You are a professional who applies company policies and procedures to grow market share effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will set appointments with merchants to present Shift4's Point of Sale products and services. You will prospect for new clients through various channels, including phone calls, networking, and building referral partnerships. Your responsibilities will include assisting existing clients with additional services, such as hardware and software solutions, to enhance their operations. You will develop new accounts and target areas for growth, ensuring that you meet or exceed sales quotas. Building strong relationships with merchants will be essential, as you will need to listen to their needs and resolve any outstanding issues they may have. You will explain the value of Shift4 products using your laptop or Point of Sale device, ensuring that clients understand how these solutions can benefit their business.
