You possess excellent leadership skills, having successfully managed cross-functional teams and collaborated with product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals. You are adept at fostering a creative environment that encourages collaboration and innovation, ensuring that your team is motivated and aligned with the company's goals.

Your design process is data-driven, and you are skilled in utilizing user research and analytics to inform your design decisions. You have experience with various design tools and methodologies, allowing you to adapt to different project requirements and timelines. You are passionate about mentoring junior designers and helping them grow in their careers.

What you'll do

As the Product Design Director for Block's Food & Beverage team, you will lead the design strategy for our suite of products aimed at helping restaurant owners and operators thrive in a competitive landscape. You will oversee the entire design process, from ideation to implementation, ensuring that our solutions are user-friendly and meet the needs of our customers.

You will collaborate closely with product managers to define product requirements and prioritize features based on user feedback and market trends. Your role will involve conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing data to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.

You will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing design team, providing guidance and support to ensure that design standards are met and that team members are continuously developing their skills.
