Google is seeking a Market Responsibility Specialist for YouTube Trust and Safety to manage client relationships and drive strategy using data analytics. This role requires 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety and fluency in multiple languages.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety, data analytics, policy, regulations, cybersecurity, escalations, or related fields. Your ability to communicate fluently in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese or Hokkien is essential for supporting client relationship management in the region. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can use data to drive strategy and business action, exercising good judgment in a rapidly changing environment. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management abilities are top-notch, allowing you to operate proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with SQL and spreadsheet software is preferred, as well as knowledge of current and emerging policy trends relating to online content platforms and digital media. You have a knack for building effective relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies, which is crucial for this role.
In this role, you will be part of YouTube's Trust and Safety team, dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators. You will prepare for upcoming events in the region and support sensitive escalations, acting as the main point of contact for triaging threats and preparing risk assessments. Your market knowledge will be vital in driving the launch of news-related product features across APAC markets. You will also support the identification and vetting of external intel partners, ensuring that YouTube's policies are enforced effectively.
