Job Description

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager. In this role, you will drive the negotiation with both internal and external stakeholders to introduce new pricing products services that will support the growth of the Amazon Freight Partner program. As part of the Economic Model team, you will be responsible for defining, scoping and implementing initiatives that will support the development and optimization of the pricing framework for the AFP program in alignment with the overal ATS EU strategy while satisfying performance and budget goals. You will work on structuring pricing for new products, benchmarking to external and internal competitiors and launching new pricing related products to transform the current transportation environment while influencing Senior Leadership on the direction for the Middle Mile business.


Key job responsibilities
- You will define new pricing products and services for Amazon partners.
- You will create and optimize pricing models for new partnerships and product types.
- You will run periodic reviews of current prices to identify changes/updates based on economic model algorithms, market conditions and internal benchmarks.
- You will work closely with a team of Sr. Program and Product Managers to drive the collection and implementation of requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations.
- You will work with internal and external partners in order to generate program adoption and ensure a successful implementation.
- You will write and review business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive the product development from design to release.
- You will be required to have clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders. This includes ongoing project/program status reports as well as capturing requirements.
- You will retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems.
- You will monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program.

A day in the life
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and product launches You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan while engage internal and external stakeholders to solve customer driven needs.

Senior Product Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, customer engagement or product updates, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
